Please read before applying. These are IC and OOC. They're pretty simple and if you can't follow them you will be asked to leave.
1) Follow DG rules. LISTEN TO ADMIN!
2) Respect the Leader and Officers. If one should give you a direct order, follow it; if you feel it's unfair, follow it anyway and contact Q afterward to discuss.
3) Keep In character and OOC separate. If you can't do this, it causes me unwanted drama. Its a GAME; don't ruin what's supposed to be fun with anger, vendettas, dating fiascoes or any of the like. If you happen to have an alt in another guild, this applies doubly. Keep them separate.
4) Be kind to fellow players OOC. I have many characters in guild who IC are awkward, strange, anti-social, rude and just all around different. I'm fine with this. No world would have everyone "perfect" and "kind" just because we are at war. I enjoy odd quirky characters, but make sure you keep it IC and let those you're talking to know it's just IC. RP it out but make sure you're not angering anyone OOC. This rule applies to "kill stealing" as well. IC I know it's technically OK to kill steal but OOC it's rude and frustrating, especially on raid creatures and CG's, so if someone is OBVIOUSLY well into killing a creature don't take it and if you do it accidentally, immediately apologize OOC. FINALLY: TOE THE LINE, DON'T BE EVIL; SEE RULE 1.
5) Be a good example of RP. Yup this is a guild rule for us... We are an RP'ers guild through and through. That doesn't mean your RP needs to be da best or super serious-- loose and fun is fine, as long it's interesting and FOLLOWS GAME RULES. If you feel your RP is getting stale or needs improvement, ask for help. Avoid rp'ing while RL intoxicated! It was a game rule, as well, but I'm doubly noting it.
6) What happens in the guild stays in the guild. IC, our guild is a family, therefore guild matters shouldn't just be shared willy nilly. Use common sense and don't share private things with others.
7) NO GUILD DRAMA IC or OOC! This is where we relax. Dating someone in guild? Don't cheat with another member etc, etc, etc... Don't make GC uncomfortable for all of us on a regular basis. We vote IC and OOC for a reason... GC should be amusing light banter and rp- Stress me and I ask you to go away. No whining, especially to get Admin attention, It brings others down and I get complaints. On the similar note, don't beg admin for items. It's not an appropriate way to earn something. If my players start avoiding my GC I will be soundly annoyed. It' a game... If you detract from that for others-- it's a problem. GC is not a dating service either- You wanna flirt (More than in passing fun)? Take it to pm! It's exclusive to do it in GC and makes members uncomfortable. (Some of this I shouldn't have to say but ... There it is.)
8) Play with your guild, participate in GC, invite members to things you're doing and show up to guild events and guild RP. You don't have to /every/ time, but there should be some effort here. What's the point of being in the guild if you don't interact?
9) Ave would like me to add, "He is the coolest" ..well, I'll leave that up to you to decide :D
If you have questions on any of these, feel free to contact Q or one of the officers, here or in game. Our links can all be found on the members list in the Application office.
I do reserve the right to change these anytime.
Happy RP'ing,
